All of those colleges you listed are really nice, and I wanted to apply to them originally but they're very liberal artsy and not very sciency. I hope the rest of this semester goes well. At least, like you said, give yourself an option. Also, living closer to home is really cool. Sometimes I wish I could do that so that, among many things, transportation of my stuff (instruments, books) would be a lot easier.
